About Lai Cianghlim

Lai Cianghlim, the Zanniat Bible, is a translation of the Holy Bible into the Zanniat language by Dr. Forth R. Naisang, making the Word of God available to Zanniat-speaking people in their own language.

The Global Zanniat Christian Association (GZCA) is committed to preserving and making accessible the literary and Christian heritage of the Zanniat people. The Lai Cianghlim digital project is part of this effort.

Under the coordination of Mr. Thian Ro Uk Lian, General Secretary of GZCA, the project brings Lai Cianghlim to digital platforms through www.laicianghlim.com and Android and iOS applications for phones and tablets.

Freely Given, Freely Shared

Dr. Forth R. Naisang did not consider it necessary to claim copyright over his Bible translation. His view was simple: just as God freely provides the essential gifts of life—air, water, and light—His Word should also be freely available to all.

In this spirit, Lai Cianghlim is made freely available to read, study, and share, while preserving this important work for generations to come.

Credits

Special acknowledgment is given to Wilfred for providing a copy of the Zanniat Bible in USFM (Unified Standard Format Markers). It served as an important reference in standardizing the text from the original website. The two sources were compared and reformatted to produce the final text used in the current website and applications.

We also gratefully acknowledge Salai Thangte, who designed the first Lai Cianghlim website and helped make the Zanniat Bible available online. The original website has been preserved and remains available for viewing at www.old.laicianghlim.com.

Their contributions helped lay the foundation for the present Lai Cianghlim digital project.
